Tuberculous Osteomyelitis of Mandible in a Young Child– A Diagnostic Dilemma

Aims: To report a case of Tuberculous osteomyelitis mandible in young child and highlights the difficulties establishing diagnosis with clinical cone beam computed tomography (CBCT) imaging findings.
 Presentation Case: A 8-year old who presented diffuse swelling cheek without evidence any active primary foci tuberculosis. On basis findings radiographic analysis, antitubercular therapy (ATT) was started on follow-up visit after six months, patient showed resolution mandibular lesion.
 Discussion: In oral cavity commonly occurs due to an odontogenic source infection. Tuberculosis (TB) is worldwide public health problem, tuberculosis infection rare phenomenon jaw involvement even rarer usually affects older individuals.
 Conclusion: Tubercular should be considered differential because early identification rapid implementation successful regimen are crucial minimizing morbidity emergence
